OUR POLICIES AND RELEASE FORM INFORMATION
Fur the Love of Pets will have permission to do whatever it feels is appropriate for the well-being of your pet. Should Fur the Love of Pets determine, at its sole discretion, that veterinary care is warranted, the pet owner will be responsible to pay all associated fees and costs. The owners will be contacted first. If your pet's veterinarian is not readily accessible, Fur the Love of Pets is authorized to use a veterinarian of their choice. Fur the Love of Pets will not be responsible for any conditions or problems discovered during grooming or any pre-existing conditions.
Fur the Love of Pets will not be held responsible for clipper burn, nicks/cuts, or skin irritation resulting from grooming; nor will they be held responsible for stressful effects that grooming may have upon a pet. Fur the Love of Pets shall not be held liable for any after-grooming effects of de-matting clipping procedures or problems uncovered on a badly matted or otherwise neglected coat including but not limited to: itchiness, skin redness or self inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive external rubbing. The pet owner understand that time and costs associated with de-matting are unpredictable and subject to the particular condition of their dog; consequently, the pet owner agrees to pay whatever fees are incurred as a result of de-matting. Whether a pet is "matted," furthermore, is at the sole determination of Fur the Love of Pets. The pet owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the pet including, but not limited to, special handling requirements, de-matting, re-bathing, and fees due for missed appointments. Fur the Love of Pets is not responsible for any miscommunications about the services provided during an appointment.
Fur the Love of Pets reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the health and safety of the groomer and the pet. A muzzle may be used, or services discontinued or refused if Fur the Love of Pets determines that a pet presents an unsafe condition. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: behavior issues, health problems, fleas or parasites. The pet owner agrees to inform Fur the Love of Pets prior to grooming if the pet has ever bitten any human or another animal or has any aggressive tendencies whatsoever. The pet owner understands and agrees that they will be held solely liable for any harm, injury, or property damage caused by their pet.

If you don't show up within 15 minutes of your appt. that is concerned a "no show" and you will need to reschedule. We may make exceptions if you call ahead of time saying you may be late. We may require a 50% deposit if you no show to an appt. multiple times. This money will be applied towards your grooming appt. or kept if you don't show up again. This gives us the opportunity to refill your spot so we can help more people.

The pet owner will sign that they are the rightful legal owner of the pet for which services are rendered. The pet owner will be expected to have read, understand, and agree to the policies of Fur the Love of Pets as set forth on this page.
